Whenever I acquisition an old cottony bathrobe peeking out from the chaotic racks of some best store, I feel accountable to aces it up. The evocations are two-fold. There's the adequate Japanese basis, and afresh there's that clue of 1940s allure and the fascinatin with all things exotic. Guinevere Van Seenus' shoot for Vogue UK typifies that. She's like an Art Deco dame, decrepit in an all-embracing accumulation of accessories: bangles, beads, cottony flowers, tassels, adored stones, butterflies... If afflatus on how to cull calm clashing prints is what you're after, afresh this access of oriental florals is absolutely one to peruse.
